The Partnerships with Youth (PWY) is a USAID funded program implemented by IREX. PWY provides educational and leadership programs to youth aged 14-29 throughout the West Bank. Between 2013 and 2018, IREX will support 11 Youth Development Resource Centers (YDRCs) in the West Bank to become sustainable hubs for youth innovation and learning. IREX will also work with up to 33 Affiliated Youth Clubs (ACs) that will provide programs for youth outside of district centers.
Purpose and number of anticipated grants: The grant programs will engage youth within the 14-29 age range in programming, activities, and/or training that is designed to provide educational and leadership opportunities and build their skills and competencies in one of the following areas: sports, environment, English language, arts. Programs in these themes should emphasize either (1) employability; or (2) community engagement. The grantees will provide programs at and through the YDRCs and ACs. All programming will incorporate a positive youth development approach and IREX will support grantees in using this approach. IREX will provide capacity-building support to grantees in parallel with activities implemented. IREX will award two grants from this RFA.

The complete applications shall be submitted in one original and three copies. All copies of the complete proposal must be separately placed in sealed envelopes clearly marked on the outside with the following;
Thematic Grants Application – PWY. The individual envelopes must then be bundled together to be received as one complete package.
Submissions should be delivered to the following address no later than (March 30, 2014 time: 12:00pm Ramallah time)
